Cascade Fresh Recipe Contest Rules

Eligibility
No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. The Cascade Fresh Recipe Contest is open to any legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who is 18 years or older except where prohibited by law. Employees, immediate family members (parents, siblings and children) of employees, and those living in the same household as employees of Cascade Fresh Inc. and any and all subsidiaries and their corporate suppliers are not eligible. CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to publication and/or display of his/her names, addresses (limited to city and state), likenesses, voices and/or photographs, where lawful, at the discretion of Cascade Fresh, without further compensation. Participants are subject to official Cascade Fresh Recipe Contest Rules.

Entry Requirements

Enter as often as you like but only one entry may qualify as a winner and only one winner per household. Entries will be posted on our website so people can vote on their favorites.
Please submit recipes with no refined sugar. With diabetes and childhood obesity increasing, we want to part of the solution to eat healthy.
Recipes can be appetizers, entrees or desserts.
Recipes must be original. An original recipe is the product of one's own mind and is not a copy or imitation. If the recipe is derived from a previously published one, it must have at least three significant ingredients that are different and the method of preparation changed to qualify.
Recipes must be legible and in exact, standard U.S. measurements.
Submissions must include name of recipe, number of servings, name and address, email address and daytime phone.

Entry
The contest runs from 12:01 a.m. Western Time on September 10, 2011 through 11:59 p.m. on September 30, 2011. Entrants for the Cascade Fresh Recipe Contest may enter online at www.cascadefresh.com and click on the Submit Recipes tab or fax Cascade Fresh at 206-363-8191 with address, email and phone number included. Entries may also be submitted on Facebook/Cascade Fresh and Twitter/cascadefresh. All entries become the property of the Cascade Fresh, who assume no liability for late, misdirected, lost, damaged, incomplete entries, including by reason of hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, congestion, or incompatibility at Cascade Fresh's server or elsewhere, will not be eligible. Cascade Fresh, in own sole discretion; reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the web site. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of Cascade Fresh is in violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Cascade Fresh reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Cascade Fresh's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Prizes
All contestants will receive Cascade Fresh coupons. In addition, (3) Sur La Table $100 gift cards will be awarded to the top (3) recipes that receive the most votes. The potential winner is subject to verification before prize is awarded.

Voting Procedure
Cascade Fresh staff will review all submitted recipes initially. Recipes will be judged on taste, originality, ease of preparation and appearance. Selected recipes will then be posted on the Cascade Fresh web site. Participants and the general public will be able to vote on their favorites. By accepting the prize, the winners agree to release Cascade Fresh Inc and any participating affiliates, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, injuries, actions or proceedings arising out of and/or sustained in connection with use, acceptance or possession of prize. Cascade Fresh Inc make no warranties with regard to the prize. Prize is nontransferable, has no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash. There are no substitutions for the prize, except at the sole discretion of Cascade Fresh. Winners will be responsible for any and all local, state and/or federal taxes.

Disputes
Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Cascade Fresh Recipe Contest or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the US District Court located in Seattle WA; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this sweepstakes bit in no event attorneys' fees: and (iii) under no circumstances will the entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, other than for actual out of pocket expenses and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsors in connect with this Sweepstake shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Washington, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Washington or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Washington.
